International travel often begins with connectivity friction, as travelers search for Wi-Fi, buy local SIM cards, or navigate roaming limitations. Saily is a global eSIM service that enables instant connection without physical SIM cards, and uniquely offers built-in network-level-security, including virtual location, web protection, and ad blocking. This self-initiated project explores how Saily's existing brand assets could be applied more effectively across marketing channels to improve clarity, strengthen benefit-led communication, and create a scalable campaign system within its current visual identity.

THE PROBLEM
Based on the analysis of 100+ App Store reviews, it became clear that while Saily offers global coverage and advanced network-level security, its marketing communication focuses primarily on technical features rather than traveler outcomes. This makes it harder for users, especially those new to eSIM, to quickly understand its value. Key differentiators like virtual location, web protection, and ad blocking are also under-communicated, while inconsistent visual identity across touch points reduces clarity and impact. The challenge was to translate Saily’s capabilities into clear, experience-led communication and develop a cohesive campaign system that highlights its advantages and scales across channels.
PROCESS & DECISIONS
I developed a campaign concept centered on readiness, reframing Saily's technical features into a clear benefit of being connected immediately upon arrival. Using the existing visual identity, I built a scalable key visual system with benefit-led messaging and consistent art direction to improve clarity across marketing channels. To reinforce trust and differentiation, I introduced a modular security layer highlighting Saily's network-level protection through concise sub headlines and badges. First-time user offers were integrated across key touch points to support acquisition while remaining cohesive within the brand system.
IMPACT
If implemented, this strategy could improve App Store conversion by making Saily’s value clearer at first glance, while also reducing reliability-related complaints through more transparent and experience-led communication. By shifting the focus from technical features to real traveler outcomes, the campaign aims to strengthen brand perception around trust and dependability. Working on this project reinforced the importance of translating large volumes of user feedback into clear marketing strategy, designing for the emotional context of travel, and ensuring that brand messaging accurately reflects the reliability users expect from a connectivity product like Saily.
